The 6-foot-3, 195-pounder featured a 70-72 mph fastball on the mound, and showed the ability to locate both his curveball and change up. In the field, Forsee showed average hands and a quick, clean exchange at first base, while accurately throwing the ball across the infield. Although he currently has a gap-to-gap approach, a smoother load and better extension will surely increase his power.

2/20/12: On the mound, the big bodied 6-foot-3, 195-pound Forsee showed good feel for all three pitches. Coming from a ¾ arm slot, Forsee’s fastball sat 75-77 mph, and was complimented with a cutter (66-69 mph) and 69-71 mph changeup. As he continues to progress and learn to use his body, Forsee should see an increase in velocity off the mound.
