2/17/17 - Geren is a 5-foot-9 170-pound right-handed hitting outfielder, shortstop and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 4.22 home to first and has an 81 mph exit velo. At the plate, starts slightly open, minimal load, level bat path, mostly opposite field line drives during batting practice, repeats swing.  In the outfield, short three quarters release, 76 mph positional velo, mostly accurate throws, clean exchange, works behind the ball. On the infield, 72 mph positional velo, over the top release, fluid footwork to the ball, clean transfer, accurate throws. On the mound, Geren has a high three quarters release, throws with regular effort, fastball at 75-76 mph, some having downhill tilt, 50-50 strikes, gradual 12-to-6 action on curveball, 62-63 mph, change up at 65-67 mph, near fastball arm speed.

6/14/16 - Geren is a 5-foot-9 150-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 7.25 60 and and 4.38 home-to-first.  He has a 75 mph exit velo. At the plate, balanced set up, no wasted movement in load, middle of the field line drives during batting practice, repeats swing.  In the outfield, 72 mph positional velo, over the top arm slot, clean transfer, works behind ball, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Geren has an over the top release, hands work with leg lift and separate with stride, in-line stride down the mound, fastball at 71-73 mph, breaking ball with 12-to-6 action, 59 mph.
