3/24/16

Left-handed pitcher who we have seen a bunch of times in the last year and a half. The arm is clean and works well. The delivery is on line and repeated. He does run away from his arm slightly, causing him to pull his glove side to the third base side. The fastball has good arm-side run to it, sitting at 79-80 mph (he is coming off a broken bone from hoops). The changeup is a good pitch, has fade and action to it, touching 72-74 mph. The breaking ball has improved immensely in the last year, and is now 67 mph with room to grow. Good looking left-handed pitching prospect.

Long and lean left-hander who I have seen a number of times now. The arm is very clean and simple on the backside. The delivery is athletic and repeatable. The fastball has run and sink to it, sits at 82-83 now, with more in there. The breaking pitch is slurvy and has improved immensely, now gets to 69. The shape of the pitch is good but the spin of the ball needs to be tightened. The changeup is 71 and still a work in progress. Love the frame and the projectability, he needs to continue to work and improve. I like his chances.

8/5/15
Long and clean left-hander who threw the ball nicely at the Futures. He has a simple and on time delivery. Needs some top half tweaks to improve his command and velocity but like his arm and projection. The fastball sits 81-84 with life and run.  The breaking ball is slurvy and needs to be revamped, which he is working on, right now its stiff wristed at 61-64. The changeup had action to it at 71-74 and he threw it to both left and right-handed hitters. Good athleticsm on the mound and showed plenty of moxy on the day.

3/8/15
6-foot-1, 185-pound projectable frame. On the mound he has an easy, slow tempo delivery that lands slightly closed. From a long, loose, high-¾ slot his fastball sits 77-79 mph with down angle. He is able to command his breaking ball at 66 mph with solid 11/5 tilt. Showcased a changeup with good arm speed at 67-69 mph with arm-side run.
