Almanzor stands at 5-foot-9, 145-pounds. Possesses a lean and athletic build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.53 seconds. Recorded an exit velo of 71 MPH. Starts at the plate in a wide, balanced stance with his knees bent. Hands begin slightly above shoulder height, near his body. Keeps his hands locked in position during his load. Uses a small leg kick, stays on time. Stays on plane and sprays line drives. Low finish. Defensively took reps as an outfielder. Recorded a velo of 75 MPH. Approached the baseball under control with short, choppy steps. Brings the baseball to his chest and transfers it there. Made accurate throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. On the mound, begins with his feet even and in line with the plate. Long, clean arm action. Engages his lower half early and uses it efficiently. Strong front side, leverages over it. From the stretch, begins with his feet even and back leg slightly preset. Fastball topped at 74 MPH and sat 73-74 MPH. FB showed downhill angle. Curveball displayed big 1/7 shape, and was consistently thrown in the zone at 57-60 MPH. Changeup had both fade and run at 64-67 MPH.

Almanzor has a skinny frame at 5-foot-7 135-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.43 seconds, exit velocity topped at 70 mph. Offensively- LHH starts in a wide stance with hands above shoulder. Uses a leg lift and stride to start load process, hands load slightly back. Balanced finish on back side. Defensively- Throws topped at 72 mph from the OF. Over-the-top arm slot. Fields ball in front of body. Pitching- Fastball topped at 71 mph. Sat mostly 70-71. Curveball had small break at 61-64. Flashed a straight changeup at 65 mph. Tall balance point, over-the-top arm slot.
