Geisler stands 6-foot-3 215-pounds and is a primary 1B. Offensively, Geisler starts slightly opened and uses big leg kick from the left side to start his swing. Load is smooth despite big leg kick. Hands get to loaded position that is even with shoulder. Slight upper cut swing.


10/18/15 -- Giesler has broad shoulder; stands 6-foot-2 and checks in at 185 pounds with room for more good weight. Physical first base prospect who throws right-handed and swings it from the left side. He plays his position with some hesitancy but seemed to look more at home during the game. He is a big target and has a loose arm action which could call for a stronger arm down the line. He swings it with aggressiveness and power potential. Does best when he gets his foot down and trusts his hands. He has some length in his swing and will get beat with fastballs above the belt until he grasps a better feel for the strike zone. He collected two hits in five at-bats; both hit well. Certainly has a solid chance to hit at the next level. Exit Velo of 79.
Defensively - Shows good footwork on throws to second base. Agile feet make turning 3-6-3 double plays look smooth. Short arm action from high-3.4 slot. Throws topped at 77 across the infield.

9/26/15 -- Geisler has a big, physical frame and hits well from the left side. He seems to have a feel for putting the barrel on the baseball. He has a very easy, simple approach and has good bat speed. He is one to watch in the rankings over the next couple of weeks.
