Dalsey is 6-foot-2 195-pounds with a broad shouldered, muscular frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.20 seconds and recorded an exit velocity of 86 MPH. At the plate, Dalsey starts in a crouch and weight visibly on back leg with hands just above back shoulder. Uses a foot stride to start swing, hands load back minimally. Creates powerful torque in hips to product a short, compact and quick swing through the zone. Controlled, yet explosive, Dalsey creates some lift in his finish. A gap to gap hitter already, Dalsey still has room for more muscle to add to his big frame. Defensively, from the outfield recorded throws that topped at 85 MPH. Plays through his throws well – aggressive in his pursuit of the ball, carries momentum through his finish from a high-3/4 slot. Throws had some backspin and carry. On the mound, fastball topped at 80 MPH and sat mostly 78-79. Flashed a curveball at 65-66 with gradual 12/6 depth. Up tempo delivery, able to change slots on fastball. Can throw from high-3/4 slot and sidearm with fastball for strikes. Sidearm delivery creates sink into right handed hitters.
