New Jersey Games (July 23-25, 2016)
Provost is an athletic, physically built 3B (converted SS) at 6-foot 185-pounds. Ran a 7.33 60. One of the top performers of the whole event. One of the top uncommitteds in the state. Offensively, starts with weight on front leg and shifts back for a load as the pitch comes in. Uses a small controlled leg kick with aggressive hips and hands. occasionally pulls off. True gap to gap power. Exit Velo 91, one of the top of the event.
Defensively - made several plays in the field during the games that were outstanding. Has a feel for hands and movements at third base already. Very clean efficient actions in the field, no wasted movements. Throws from a 3/4 slot with some carry and back spin. 82 mph across the infield.

Winter Trials North (December 6, 2015)

Provost had a very solid day at the Winter Trials North event. He seemed to have tapped into his athleticism a bit more. He was well balanced in the box, like always, but showed some more bat speed and power potential. He seemed to have his way with the batting practice round, sending balls to both corners of the back of the net. He had 92 MPH exit velocity which was an improvement from the Underclass Games. He looked very solid in the infield portion of the event, showing much better foot work and foot speed, as well as a strong arm with carry.
NJ Underclass Games (September 20, 2015)
Provost is a gamer in every sense of the word; plays well above his raw athleticism. He has good balance in the box and generates bat speed through his leg kick. His swing is slightly uphill but when he matches plane and is on time, he shows the ability to drive the ball well to the LCF gap. Defensively he has a good first step but lacks true foot speed, which needs to be improved. He has soft hands and very solid arm strength with good carry on his throws. He is a prototypical 3B prospect with upside as he continues to improve and get stronger.
