NY Games (June 27-29, 2016)
Teska is a RHP standing 6-foot-0 and weighing 180 pounds. Pitching-   has a sweeping/slurve type CB at 65-68 MPH.
Preseason All-State (February 28, 2016)
First saw Teska over a year ago and since have seen him at six total events. The last couple times hes been very consistent with his fastball velocity always topping 81. It took a year, but Alec has broke through that barrier finally - with ease. Pitching - very simple but fluid delivery, back quick arm-action to a power 3/4 arm-slot. Fastball sat 80-82, topping 84 with some late pick-up. Curveball appears to be more of a slurve-type, drops his arm angle lower when he throws it, sits 66-67 with some loose sweeping action, change up sat 68-70. He's starting to turn the corner on the mound, excited to see him this spring.
Eastern NY All-Star Games (September 13, 2015)
Stands at 5-foot-11, 160 pounds, with an athletic body build.  Pitching - On the mound, he uses a simple side step, balanced delivery, arm action is fairly clean and loose, throws with multiple arm slots.  He drives from balanced position and finishes over his front side consistently.  He exhibits good command with a fastball max at 81 MPH.  Curveball had some nice downward action, signs of proper spin, and changeup had a little late downward movement.  With work he could easily progress into the mid 80’s with his body build.  Using the different arm slots could really throw off the hitters.

Central NY Open (July 15, 2015)
Pitching- Teska, with an athletic and wiry build showed a balanced delivery finishing slightly off to his glove side. Showed pitchability as he worked his fastball in and out to both sides of the plate. Did show some arm side run at 77-78, touching 81 MPH. Plenty of room for physical gains to which the velocity will follow. Features a mid 3/4 arm slot but drops a bit lower for breaking ball that sat in the 60-63 range. Action was in the 2:30-to-8:30 range when on top and backed up on him when underneath, loosing the tighter rotation and falling into the 59-60 MPH range. Change up showed positive differential at 68-70 but lacked feel as it often was spiked or cut. Knows how to setup hitters and get outs.

New York Games  (July 7-9 2015)
Pitching- Teska has a very strong, wiry-athletic frame from the mound. Broad thick shoulders, his delivery is quick but remains repeatable and fluid. Arm action is longer and loose, signs of next level velocity. Fastball now sits 78-80, topped 81 mph with some late depth. Curveball was 67-70 with sweeping action. Change up sat 73-74 with quick hand-speed. Prospect to keep an eye on.
Preseason All-State Showcase (February 15, 2015)
Teska stands 5-foot-11, 160-pounds with an athletic frame. Pitching- Teska uses a sidestep, hands start sightly above his belt. Shows signs of late separation as he drives towards home but arm is quick enough to catch up with his body. Uses shoulder separation to create more torque, throws form a low-3/4 slot. Fastball has arm side run, sits 80 mph with more in the tank. Curveball was 67 with some late action. Finishes out in front over his knee. I expect to see his velocity continue to climb over the next couple years. Offensively- At the plate he starts with weight slightly shifted back, hands relaxed near head. On the pitch he uses a very short stride, short path to the ball, mostly level plane, some extension, higher finish with balance.  Defensively- From the infield he shows solid technique, open glove face, slightly deep when been gets there, quick transfer, throws from a low/mid-3/4 slot. Arm strength was 70 mph. He ran a 7.5 60.

Holiday Clinic (December 2014)
Teska stands 5-foot-11, 160-pounds with an athletic build. Defensively- From SS he move head-on to the ball, fields out in front, quick funnel, clean exchange. High arm action, throws from a low-3/4 slot, arm strength at 72 mph. Offensively- At the plate he starts relaxed, elbow up, wide base. On the pitch he strides and back loads for timing. Powers his hands inside the ball, short path, barrel is level through the contact zone, shoulder height finish. Exit velocity was 72 mph off a tee. Pitching - He uses a side step, quick delivery from the mound. Shoulder tilt down, leans hard towards his target. He uses a long back arm action, throws from a low-3/4 slot, long stride, finish could be more out in front, stands up on the recoil some. Arm works quick, prospect to follow.
