6-foot-1, 165-pound left-handed hitting outfielder who also pitches from the right side. Shows an athletic approach to the ball in the outfield. Threw 69 mph from the outfield as he didn't let it rip. The ability to take routes on fly balls and get off the ball must improve as he ages. He played in the infield last year at our event. Ran a 4.64 down the line on his dig to first. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 83 mph, as the frame needs strength. Hits out of an even base, and has a small simple path to the ball. He serves the ball around the yard as he really tries to maneuver the barrel. Needs to stay on the ball longer as he pulls off too soon when he swings. On the mound, the fastball touched 78 mph with arm side action to it. The breaking pitch has a great shape to it, sitting at 73 mph. The delivery is online and he makes an attempt to stay with his arm. He tracks his front shoulder appropriately and pitches out of a plus ¾ slot. The changeup is a work in progress. Throws strikes and competes on the mound. More of a pitcher in my opinion.
