Billy is a 6-foot, 138 pound OF/2B. He ran home to 1B in 4.77. Offensively- Billy comes to the plate with an athletic, open stance. He keeps his hands tight to his back shoulder, with the bat at roughly 45 degree angle to the ground. He squares himself up to the plate using a toe-touch leg lift. Reeling his hands back into a good load position. Good extension with hands through the zone. Drives the ball at an exit velocity of 76 MPH. Solid line drive/ fly ball results. Defensively- From the OF, Billy receives the ball on his left side, which loses significant time on the transfer from his glove to his hand. Aggressive approach, channeling his momentum into the catch. With a slight improvement in his crow hop, Billy could get more power behind his throws. He displayed an arm strength of 70 MPH with more in the tank.
