Brooks has added some muscle and has filled out his frame nicely. Potentially the best arm behind the plate in section 9, consistently in the sub 2.0 range. Good receiver, handles the everything in the dirt well. At the plate he roped a RBI double to left center in the first and was robbed of another RBI double in the 4th on spectacular running grab by the Kingston left fielder.

What better way to come back from an ACL injury then to pop three straight throws in the 1.91-1.97 range. Although a bit rusty at the plate, Brooks has shown some above average pop to left center as a younger player. Apparently things happen quickly, as Brooks committed to the College of St. Rose the next day.
