Jack checks in at 5-foot-11, 140 pounds. The OF/LHP ran a 4.54 home to 1B. Offensively- Jack steps to the plate with his stance shoulder width apart, in an athletic position. His hands very high, near the top of his head with the bat nearly straight up and down, moving in a circle. Uses a slight stride with a heel lift for timing; very explosive attacking the ball, with quick hands. Jack hit an exit velocity of 77 MPH. Repeatable efforts with good balance; fly ball/line drive results. Defensively- In the outfield Jack gets under the ball in good position and catches it on his throwing arm side. Transfer happens a bit late off the hip; good crow-hop into the throw; arm strength of 80 MPHPitching- On the mound, Jack sets up in the middle of the rubber. With a semi-quick wind-up; high arm slot; cuts his stride short and finishes tall. Falls off to the 1B side at times. Ability to spot the fastball with arm speed run. FB sits 80-81 MPH. Displayed a 12-6 curveball at 68-69 MPH that he was able to spot and expand. Changeup showed some late fade at 69-71 MPH.
