New York Games (June 27-29, 2016)
Stands 5-foot-7, 155-pounds with a lean athletic build. Ran a 7.01 60-yard dash, 92-mph exit velocity and threw it 75-mph across the diamond. Offensively- Sets up with a wide base and uses a small back to front toe tap stride, gets good separation with the barrel and has great hand strength through the zone. Defensively- Works around and through the ball with the glove out in front. Shows sound fundamentals and quick release. We've seen him develop over the past few years and he is the definition of a gamer. Plays the game at full speed, makes all the routine plays, and is a tough out at the plate.

April 2016
Shows upside and versatility all over the field. Starting at SS for the Panthers and leading the way offensively, Kruszka sets up wide athletic base, with smooth leg kick and compact stroke.  He showed off his power with a no doubter deep to left center field off North Collins top arm. Defensively Matt has clean actions up the middle and good arm strength that will give him a shot at the next level at any position infield or outfield.  He even came into the game late on the mound to show yet another threat he brings to the game.
New York Games (July 7-9, 2015)
Stands at 5-foot-7, 155 pounds, with an athletic body build. Defensively- He has a smooth approach through the ball, fields the ball deep, throws with an athletic multi slot, arm slot, plays through the ball, and is very accurate.  Offensively- At the plate his setup is open stance, short stride, with a nice back load.  His hands are very compact and strong, swinging with a little uphill tilt, and has high finish with nice extension through the ball.  Matt is a solid utility player and hitter who shows a lot of potential to progress to the next level in college.

Upstate Underclass Games (September 7, 2014)
Pitching- On the mound he start wide with a fast tempo but stays balanced. He uses great shoulder alignment, drives off his back side with a clean arm circle. He pushes the ball a touch dropping his elbow slightly below his shoulder plane and should focus on keeping his elbow at least shoulder height. His fastball sat 74-76 mph at a downward plane. His curveball has 12/6 shape 66-68 mph. He needs to finish his pitches out in front of his body, over his front knee more and as a result should see more action and depth to his pitches. Defensively - In the field he charges the ball hard but in control, stays low fielding out in front of his body, he funnels the ball high near his arm pit to a quick, short arm action from a low 3/4 slot. His arm strength was 74 mph. Offensively- At the plate he starts upright and balanced with his hands above his shoulder with hand movement. On the pitch he loads back, brings his front knee back and strides forward for timing. He uses a short path, hands stay inside the ball, bat plane is slightly inclined, shoulder height finish.

Buffalo Prospect ID (July 14, 2014)
Kruszka stands 5-foot-7 155-pounds and is lean. Pitching- On the mound he throws from a mid 3/4 slot with his fastball sitting 75-76 mph. He shows a 69 mph curveball with 12/6 shape. Mechanically he is sound through his delivery. Offensively- At the plate he stands balanced with his bat on his shoulder. He uses a back load and a knee lift for timing. His bat path is level through the zone keeping hands inside the ball with a nice high finish. His exit velocity was 79 mph. Defensively- From the MIF he fields the ball wide and funnels the ball high before his release. Plays a little raw but is young, moves his feet fast and throws form a low 3/4 slot at 75 mph across the field. He ran a 7.3 60 yard dash.
