Stands 6-foot-2, 240-pounds with a big frame and clean arm action. Against a solid Orchard Park lineup Gattie sat 74-76 with good movement on all pitches. FB had late arm side run while he mixed in a 68-mph curveball with good shape and command. He didn’t get much help defensively early on which made for some long innings but overall stuff looked good. With good pitchability and mound awareness, Gattie needs some velocity gains to really make the next jump but the potential is there.

Gattie stands 6-foot-2, 252-pounds and throws from the right side. On the mound he uses a side step, normal knee lift, hand separation in front of rubber. His tempo is slower, level shoulders towards his target. Arm action is clean, throws from a high-3/4 slot, average stride length. His finish is upright, needs to work on flexibility and getting out in front over his stride foot.
