Campus Series - St. Rose (July 10, 2018)
Athletic and lean 5-foot-5, 140-pound frame. Offensively - Narrow, relaxed set-up that's slightly open to the pitcher. Uses a leg lift to create good separation as he gets into his stride. Lands square and in an athletic stance with the hands back. Finds barrel consistently with a quick, compact swing. Line drive hitter with lift to his pull-side. Exit Velocity was 84 MPH. Defensively - Quick feet and loose actions in the OF. Arm is fluid and produces accurate throws with carry. Uses a side-shuffle and gets rid of the ball quickly. Ideal arm action and release point for OF; 74 MPH arm strength.
July 2018

Athletic 5-foot-5 frame that is starting to add some muscle mass. Gets out of the box in hurry collecting 3 hits in his first 3 at-bats on Sunday. Stole 3 bases and scored 3 runs. Beat out routine GB in first AB. Average arm in the OF but gets a quick first step and tracks the ball well.

June 25-27, 2018 (NYS Games)

60 Yard Dash:
6.78
Exit Velocity:
90
Positional Arm:
79
Small Frame, compact build, very athletic evidenced by his 6.78 60-yard dash time. Strong accurate arm strength (79 mph), uses his body well behind his throws. Slightly open stance in the box, aggressive hip rotation, quiet load, quick powerful hands, generates a ton of bat-speed (90 mph). above average plate coverage in games.
Eastern PA Top Prospect Games (June 20, 2018)
Currently ranked No. 91 in the NY Class of 2019 rankings. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and initiates his swing with a lift-and-replace stride. Displayed above average feel for the barrel. The 5-foot-5, 140-pounder generates significant barrel whip as evidenced by his 88 mph bat exit velocity. Fundamentally sound defender showcased the ability to handle defensive chores at the next level with a quick release and accurate 74 mph arm strength across the diamond. Ran a 7.13 60-yard dash.
Preseason - West (February 19, 2018)
Allen stands 5-foot-5, 140-pounds from an athletic build, wiry frame, ran a 6.9 60-yard dash. At the plate he uses a slightly open stance, hands loose during pre-pitch. On the pitch he uses a knee lift, full stride back to even. Barrel path is fluid with an incline plane, very aggressive with a full extension, 85 mph exit velocity. The bat plays at the next-level. Defensively, aggressive approach to the ball, slightly choppy footwork, quick transfer, throws from a mid 3/4 slot, mid 70's arm, high motor.
Future Games (August 2-5, 2017)

Allen showed above average athleticism during the 60 running a 6.9 with quick active feet. During BP he demonstrated an aggressive approach from a compact swing that generates gap-gap power. In game action Allen had some of the top AB's on team NY. True grinder that will likely transition to the OF from MIF at the next-level.

Campus Series-Canisius (July 5, 2017)
Allen stands in at 5-foot-4, 135-pounds with a lean athletic frame. Recorded a home to first time of 4.46, just shy of his personal best of 4.36 recorded in June 2017. Offensively- Righty sets up slightly open with his feet just outside shoulder width. Shows a slight knee bend with an upright torso holding his hands just above the back shoulder using little pre-pitch bat movement. On pitch, his trigger is a knee raise into the body to stride forward while his hands move back into a good hitting position. Has quick hands into the hitting zone with a level bat path throughout into a high two-handed finish. Utilizes good lower body rotation getting whole frame involved in the swing. Demonstrated line drive potential driving the baseball down the left field line and into the left-center gap. Recorded an exit velocity of 84 MPH, 1 MPH shy of his personal best set a month before in June 2017. Defensively- In the outfield, shows athletic footwork getting behind the baseball and setting up to throw. Can use more momentum gaining ground forward on the crow hop to get added strength behind the throw. Recorded a positional arm velocity from the outfield of 77 MPH. In the infield, has quick athletic footwork getting in front of the baseball. Shows good fielding mechanics getting the baseball into the chest with a good arm action up into his throwing position. Can get more aggressive with his footwork towards the intended target prior to the throw. Recorded a positional arm velocity as an infielder at 74 MPH.

NY Games (June 25-27, 2017)
Compact 5-foot-4 135-pound infielder with a 60 time of 7.13. Offensively - Level bat plane through the strike zone with an exit velocity of 84 MPH with aggressive cuts and signs of power to the gaps, appropriate pre-pitch movement, stays middle third of the field, extends bat through the strike zone, engaged lower body will generate more power. Defensively - Agile footwork with deft body control generates momentum across infield with a velocity of 68 MPH, soft hands, smooth and easy transfer. Second base, LF/CF projection.
Academic Games (June 3, 2017)

Slightly built 5-foot-4, 135-pounder making his first of three appearances on the summer circuit; registered a home to first time of 4.35. Offensively- Combines speed with power, comfortable driving the ball to the middle third of the field, stays closed throughout swing, could generate more power with use of lower body, keeps the bat on even plane through the zone with  an exit velocity of 85 MPH, able to turn on inside pitch. Aggressive swings with some bat whip through the zone.  Defensively- Has fluid footwork, easily shifts weight momentum on throws across the infield with a velocity of 71 MPH; impressive transfer from backhand in the hole to throwing hand. Middle infield type mold. Improved arm strength will be something to lock in on going forward.
