Capital Region Open (July 29, 2015)
Durfee is ranked in the top 5 in the state as an outfielder for a reason.  He does everything very well, and keeps getting better.  He was at the top of every measurable category at the Burgh showcase, and during his BP rounds he showed even more power than the last time we saw him.  Putting 2 balls deep over the left field fence, and 1 ball to straight away center.  Consistently he's a 6.7 runner with excellent movement from side to side in the outfield.  Projects as a center fielder at the next level, and could play there right now.  Throws downhill, with carry.  Cutoff 3 balls in the gap and each ball on the fly to 3rd base was 86mph or better. Hard-nosed player, fearless.  Body still shows room for growth.  Great baseball actions, Overall the best player at the showcase. Can help a college ball club win right now.

New York Games  (July 7-9, 2015)
Slender, athletic stature at 5-foot-11, 170-pounds. Shows good range in the field, has smooth and soft feel with hands, good clean transfer after receiving, throws through target with great follow through and has a clean high-3/4 arm slot. At the plate has a slightly opened stance, with a smooth load and short stride to the pitch, hands are compact and strong to the ball with a slightly uphill tilt in his bat path. Shows potential as a hitter with consistent contact. Player to follow.

Pre-Season All-State Event (February 15, 2015)
Durfee stands 5-foot-11, 170-pounds and has solidly built frame. Hitting he uses a relaxed approach, loads back on the pitch for timing, small stride. Powers his hands to the ball, short path, barrel stays sightly inclined through the zone giving signs of some power potential. He uses some extension, could be longer, through contact with a shoulder height finish. He shows nice techniques with balance through contact. Next-level bat. 83 mph exit velocity. He ran a 6.91 60 yard dash.
Last Chance Preview Showcase (October 18, 2014)
Durfee stands 5-foot-11, 170-pounds with an athletic frame. From the OF he stays behind the ball, fields outside of his glove side, quick exchange, needs to get his footwork down better, long arm action, throws from a high-3/4 slot, arm strength at 83 mph with carry. From the plate his setup is wide. On the pitch no stride, drives his hands inside the ball, short path, level through the zone, extension out in front, shoulder height finish, exit velocity was 75 mph off a tee, home to first time was 4.51, pro agility time was 4.28.
