He uses a short, fluid load with his hands slightly moving toward his back shoulder. Swings with a level bat path through the zone and finishes with a two handed follow through. He showed some strength in his swing during his round of batting practice and produced a top exit velocity of 80 mph and ran an 8.05 60-yard dash. Behind the plate, he replaces his feet creating good momentum with throws down to second base. Throws through a high ¾ slot while topping out at 73 mph. Popped between a 2.17 and 2.33.
