10/15/16

6-foot-2, 185-pound well built prospect. Ran a 7.71 60-yard dash. Tools behind the plate are above average to well above average across the board. Showed the ability to block and receive during game action. In the workout he really impressed with his ability to catch and throw. Recorded pop times of 1.94-2.0, and threw with 80 mph arm strength to second base. A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall athletic setup. Bat speed is impressive and stands out immediately and has definite strength through contact. Ball jumped off his bat in batting practice. Would be aided by a more efficient lower half.

8/7/16
6-foot, 185-pound strong build. Had an impressive workout both offensively and behind the plate. Has much more batspeed than his 80 mph exit velocity would indicate. Has a smooth load and a flat bat path. Sprayed line drives all over the field in batting practice and recorded multiple hits in the game. Behind the plate he was impressive during game play, with above average receiving and blocking skills. Pop times ranged from 2.12-2.17 and he threw with 79 mph arm strength to second base.

2/13/16
5-foot-11, 185-pound strong build. Behind the plate he showed attributes of a solid defensive catcher. His transfer and arm action are both very quick allowing him to get rid of the ball quickly. Pop times ranged from 2.06-2.11 and he threw with 78 mph arm strength to second base. Would like to see him get on line/ gain ground towards second base during his transfer. At the plate the righty had good rhythm and fluidity throughout his swing sequence. Was able to consistently find the barrel and produce line drives in batting practice. He reached a top exit velocity of 76 mph and ran a 7.5 60-yard dash.
