1/20/14
5-foot-11, 205 pound right hand hitting catcher. Registered a 7.69 60 yard dash time. Best tool behind the dish is his arm strength. Throws through a high 3/4 slot. Will improve pop times by working on a quicker transfer/release. Registered pop time splits between 2.22-2.24 while topping out at 73 mph. At the plate, the right handed hitter uses a tall stance with leg kick type stride. Big leg kick can cause timing issues, but when everything lines up he features some plus pop off his bat. Swing doesn’t project a high contact rate, but can create significant power. Reached a top exit velocity of 72 mph.
