A left-handed hitter that starts in a wider setup. Uses a small leg lift for timing. Hands stay relatively simple prior to launch. Swing is compact and bat works on a level plane. Showed advanced strength through contact for his age. Barreled balls up consistently in BP, showing gap to gap pop. Bat plays anywhere in lineup. Very mechanically sound in the outfield. Footwork is fluid and efficient. Plays through with ease. Transitions well into his throws. Throws were on target with developing arm strength. On the bump the southpaw has an uptempo delivery with a slight pause at balance point. Lands in line to home plate with his momentum taking him to the third base side at finish. Arm moves through a high-¾ slot with developing arm speed. Fastball was consistently in the zone, showing arm side run. Did a nice job getting ahead of hitters with the pitch to set up his breaking ball. Breaking ball works on a near 12/6 plane with signs of sharpness to it. Used the offering as a put away pitch.
