6-foot-2, 190 pound physical athletic first baseman and outfielder showed an average glove at first base. Can improve on staying low and coming through it. Footwork was developing in quickness off the bag to set him up for throws on the bag at second. Throwing velocity was 72 mph across the diamond. In the outfield defensively his feet moved well getting into a nice fielding stance. Average glove fielding ability. Position velocity was 74 mph to home plate with nice accuracy. A physical bat from the right side. A fluid swinger that offers a balanced combination of strength and speed through the zone. Generates impressive jump to both gaps showing middle of the lineup qualities. Solid round of BP.

A 6-foot-2, 190-pound prospect. Swings from the right-side of the plate where he starts in a taller setup. Load is rhythmic, taking hands back during his controlled stride. Launches from a balanced position. Barrel gets through contact with ease. A line drive guy who has enough strength to find the gap regularly. Path has a tendency to get downhill at times, ball jumped off his bat when he was level. In the outfield he plays under control to and through the baseball. Transitions cleanly from fielding into his throws. Arm strength is developing. Would like to see him finish his throws. Ideal frame for the first base position. Moves really well around the bag, showing fluid actions. Glove works in and out of funnel. Projects as an above average defender at the next level.
