5-foot-10, 165-pound prospect. Starts with rocker step to the outside of his body. Gathers his weight with big inward leg kick. Tendency to land closed in his stride. Fastball comes out of a ¾ slot with long arm action at 76-78 mph. Shows occasional run to it. Breaking ball shows slurvey type action at 63-64 mph. Threw it consistently for strikes. Changeup showed some fade to it at 64-66 mph. Mixed in a 64-66 mph knuckleball that tended to be up in the zone on this occasion.

5-foot-10, 155-pound thing, build with room to fill out. Ran a 5.06 from home to first. At the plate he uses a simple approach with little to no load. Has a short stride to transfer his weight into contact and takes a slightly uphill path to the ball. Exit velocity was 75 mph. Behind the plate he had some quickness to his transfer. Would like to see him get in line to second. Using short, clean arm action he showed 67 mph arm strength to second base. Pop times ranged from 2.08-2.12. Through a 3/4 slot his fastball that consistently sat 73-75. Curveball had gradual break with an 11/5 shape at 60-63 mph. Mixed in a 64-65 mph changeup near fastball arm speed.
