6-foot-1, 198-pound strong frame. At the plate he goes with a tall, slightly open setup. An ambush type hitter with above average strength. Takes an uphill path to the ball. Found the barrel more often than not in batting practice and reached a top exit velocity of 86 mph. Would be aided by gathering his weight prior to transfer to let his strong lower half go to work. At first base he has feel for the position and decent glove skills. Footwork will need to improve moving forward. Threw across the infield with 72 mph arm strength and ran an 8.2 60-yard dash. On the mound he offers a two pitch mix while working through a high-¾ slot. Arm action is clean and he lands on line at footstrike. Fastball sat 68-71 mph and was complimented by his 1/7 shaped breaking ball that showed gradual break.
