Starts in a wider setup at the plate. Uses simple mechanics prior to launch. Bat gets through the zone on a slightly downhill path with some quickness to it. Does a nice job of remaining balanced through swing sequence. Did a nice job working to the middle of the field during batting practice. Showed his most pop when working up the middle as well. Behind the dish, he starts in a raised, off balanced stance. Footwork is average. Throws with short arm action from over the top slot. Top velocity of 71 mph on his throws with pop times between 2.16 to 2.21.
