A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall, open setup. Gets back to even through a smooth, early leg kick. A strong kid that swings with intent. Path is level to slightly uphill, showing above average bat speed. Consistently produced hard contact to his pull side in BP. Showed the ability to find the gap, showing signs of power to come. At third base he uses direct footwork, fielding the ball in the middle of his body on plays in his funnel. Reads the ball of the bat well, showing adequate lateral mobility. Ball skills are adequate. On the mound the right-hander has a slower paced tempo that requires some effort. Uses a chest high leg lift prior to his drop and drive load. Lands on line at foot strike with his momentum carrying him to the first base side as he finishes. Arm speed is developing through a near over the top slot. Fastball works downhill with slight cut at times. Didn’t show a many secondary offerings but when he did he went to the breaking ball. The pitch showed gradual break with an 11/5 shape to it.
