5-foot-10, 185-pound strong build. Ran a 7.64 60-yard dash. At the plate the right-hander starts with a wide, strong set up. Using little to no load he takes a short, aggressive stride transferring his weight into contact. Showed good strength and bat speed by registering an exit velocity of 83 mph. In the outfield he showed good footwork with the ability to maintain forward momentum during his transfer. From a 3/4 slot he had 69 mph arm strength to home plate. At third base he played low and fielded the ball deep in the middle of his body. Threw it across the diamond with 66 mph arm strength. On the mound he showed good direction to home plate using short arm action from a 3/4 slot. In his arsenal he was able to control two different breaking balls to show different movements within the strike zone. His 66-68 mph slider had late break across the plate and his 62-63 mph curveball had more of a downward gradual break at a 10/4 tilt. His fastball had some run sitting between 69-73 mph. 
3/14/15; As an 8^th grader, Cayden ran a 7.88 60yd dash.  His exit velo was 74mph.  At the plate, he has a balanced set up and short stride as he loads back.  His bat speed was above average.  Cayden hit several line drives throughout his BP.  His backside will need to loosen up and get through the ball.  Defensively, his hands and arm strength are average.  He threw 65 across the infield.
