6-foot-2, 170-pound athletic build. On the mound the lefty shows choppy rhythm in his delivery. Uses a balance point approach at the top of his leg kick before dropping and driving toward the plate. Lands on line at foot strike and finishes square. Throws from a high ¾ slot with the fastball sitting 74-79 mph. Curveball sits 64-67 mph with sharp break on an 11/5 plane. Changeup sits 71-72 mph. At the plate he starts in an athletic setup from the right side. Charlie is a very strong kid and the ball jumped off his bat when he found the barrel. Got through the zone quickly and was able to reach a top exit velocity of 85 mph. In the outfield he used aggressive footwork approaching the ball and played through it nicely. Could get more out of his crow hop. From a high-3/4 slot he threw the ball to home plate with 80 mph arm strength. Ran a 4.47 from home to first.
