5-foot-11, 252-pound thick build. The southpaw is able to create good direction towards home plate with his lower half. Has some stiffness to his arm action. Uses a ¾ arm action that gives natural run to his 75-78 mph fastball. Has a changeup that he throws near fastball armspeed with some fade at 65-66 mph. Also spins a 1/7 shaped curveball at 59-61 mph. The righty gets through the zone on a flat path with definite strength and some batspeed. Was able to square up numerous balls in batting practice. His simple hands back load during his short stride allowed him to be on time consistently. Registered a top exit velocity of 81 mph and ran a 4.63 from home to first. In the infield he had some quickness to his feet and did a nice job of playing low. Average glove skills at this stage. Threw across the infield with 75 mph arm strength.
