A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall setup. Hands move back during his leg kick load and short stride. Swing is compact with some quickness to it. Path is slightly downhill and barrel gets in and out of the zone quickly. Top of the lineup type skill set. Produced hard ground balls and line drives in batting practice. In the infield he moves light on his feet approaching the baseball. Fields the ball in the middle of his body before funnelling into his stomach. Glove skills are above average at this stage. Actions remain on the move. On the mound the right-hander has slower paced tempo to a delivery that requires little effort. Arm has some looseness to it with above average arm speed while working through a near ¾ slot. Ball gets out of his hand well with his fastball sitting 79-84 mph. The pitch had heavy arm side run at times. Showed confidence in his 11/5 shaped breaking ball. The pitch has depth and sharpness to it at 68-73 mph. One of the better breakers we saw on the day.
