Scouting Notes: Not hard to see the high ceiling here. 6-foot-6, RHP who generates mid to upper 80s velocity without much effort. Fastball rides through the zone with late life, topping at 89 mph. Breaking ball was very sharp and changeup had later dive through the zone. High spin rate guy.
Fastball: 84-89mph.
Fastball Spin Rate: 2034-2283
Breaking Ball: 68-72 mph.

Changeup: 80-81 mph.

Delivery Notes: A tall and lengthy frame with a ¾ arm slot used to the athletes advantage. Moves very well compared to others of similar height.
Fastball: 81-85mph with a 1800-2000rpm spin rate on Rapsodo.
Curveball: 67-68mph with a 2000-2200rpm spin rate with 11-5 movement. CB is big, round strike pitch
Changeup: 78-79mph CH has split action w/good drop

Body Type: 6-foot-5, 215-pounds. Tall and lanky with some softness to his frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Long arm action out of high ¾ slot. Has feel and coordination for his big frame. Still has room to improve use of lower half and engaging his core. Velocity dipped out of the stretch.
Fastball: Ran it up to 85 mph, but mostly sat 81-83 mph. Located to both sides of the plate, but doesn’t show much movement. Mostly straight.
Curveball: Consistently in the zone out of the windup. 11/5 shape. Effective out pitch at 67-68 mph. Needs to find consistency out of the stretch.
Changeup: Straight like his fastball, mostly at 73 mph. Still developing feel for the pitch.
Summary: Right now, he is a FB/CB guy. He showed surprising coordination and feel for his big frame given his age. Definitely a name to follow this summer. Still raw, but clearly has upside that could earn him DI attention.
Body Type: 6-foot-5 215-pound prospect.
Swing Mechanics: Has a balanced setup and has somewhat of an armbar that leads to him casting his barrel. Shows a flat bat path.
Hit: Good bat to ball ability.
Power: 83 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: With his big, projectable frame you would think he would be able to develop into at least a gap power threat.
Field: At 3B he waits on the ball and takes minimal angles through the ball with average footwork and a slow release.
Throw: 81 mph across the diamond.
Run: 4.97 home to first.
Defensive Projection: Might end up being a better fit at 1B than 3B, but how he develops physically and adds arm strength could help him stay at 3B.
