Uses a short stride, but doesn’t transfer momentum through contact. Tendency to collapse on the backside. Hands start above shoulder height and drop in load creating uphill path to the ball. Top exit velocity of 81 mph. In the field, the third baseman showed good footwork off the bat. Tends to field the ball on his heels. Presently he takes to long to get rid of the ball. He needs to improve his transfer and release. Uses a long arm action and registered a top velocity of 66 mph on his throws.
