12/2/18 At the plate the 6’1” 185 lb is a left handed hitter. He uses a very quiet load with minimal moving parts. Once his swing starts toward the ball he tends to cast his barrel and uses a mostly uphill bat path producing contact in the air. In the outfield he looks smooth and under control through, playing one-handed through. Ball skills look to be on par for class. Arm was a slightly above average tool with strength and accuracy. 60-yard Dash: 7.35 Outfield Velocity: 80 Exit Velocity: 73
5/30/18 A lefty stick that starts in a wider setup. Barrel starts and launches from a vertical position. Uses a leg lift for timing/energy, efficiently getting lower half involved. Path is level with uphill tendencies at times. Strength and bat speed are apparent through the zone, both grading out as above average tools. Ball jumps off his bat generating easy gap pop. Has some uniqueness to swing but tools and pop are impressive. In the outfield he plays under control with smooth actions. Mechanically sound in general. Gets rid of it quickly with above average strength to home plate. Home to 1st: 4.54 Outfield Velocity: 78 Exit Velocity 70
2/18/18 Right handed pitcher who throws from a ¾ arm slot with hard upper body torque. Delivery has a slower tempo feel but is fluent. Stays directionally in line to the plate through release. Fastball comes in with developing movement at 74-76 mph. Spins an 11-5 breaking ball with gradual break at 60-64 mph. His 68-70 mph changeup stayed in the lower half of the zone with similar arm speed. In the outfield his glove was average fielding it. Footwork is developing in taking better angels when attacking the ball to take momentum into his throws. Has a higher release point with a throwing velocity of 74 mph. A left swinger that starts in a balanced setup. Lower half is athletic and explosive at times. Hands stay simple prior to accelerating the barrel through the zone on a mostly level path. A strong kid with above average bat speed. Ball comes off well and he produces natural ball flight to the middle of the field. 60-yard dash: 7.71 Outfield Velocity: 74 Exit Velocity: 77
1/30/18 A left-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Hands stay simple during leg kick timing mechanism. Barrel launches from a vertical setup, giving him easy whip and early bat speed. Showed twitch to his hands with solid strength at contact. Tends to get around the ball at times. Ball really jumped when he stayed through contact. Showed flashes of run producer potential. In the outfield he plays with aggressive footwork to the baseball. Maintains rhythm through fielding, showing above average ball skills for class. Arm plays as an average to slightly above average tool. On the mound the right-hander works through a ¾ slot showing shorter arm action. Offers three pitches, led by his 74-77 mph fastball. Filled up the zone with the pitch that has late downward action. Breaking ball has more depth than movement on an 11/5 plane at 68-69 mph. Also showed developing feel for a changeup. Home to First: 4.82 Infield Velocity: 81 Exit Velocity: 77
2/18/17 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect. Corner outfield type. Uses short arm action through high ¾ to over the top slot. Top velocity of 75 mph. Plays through the ball. Will be aided as he consistently fields the ball to the outside of his glove foot. On the mound, the right handed pitcher throws through an over the top slot with long arm action. Fastball ranges between windup and stretch while overall sitting between 71-76 mph. Breaking ball displays action closest to a cutter; sits 66-69 mph. Also mixes in a 71-72 mph changeup. At the plate he starts in an open setup. Incorporates a leg kick and barrel tip in his loading sequence. A back leg hitter that takes an uphill path to the baseball. Flashed above average strength and bat speed. Would be aided by more weight transfer into contact to flatten out his path.
