8/10/13
6-foot-2, 205-pound two-way prospect with tall, solid frame. On the mound, he throws through high ¾ arm slot with average arm speed. Fills up the zone with strikes. Fastball was straight at 77-79 mph while breaking ball showed 11/5 action at 66 mph. At first base, he moves around the bag well. Uses a quick transfer. Reached a top velocity of 82 mph on his throws. At the plate, he is a line drive type hitter. Takes level path to the ball. Doesn’t show much loft. Will improve with more use of his strong lower half. Ran a 5.03 out of the box.

10/14/12
6-foot-2, 200-pound prospect. Strong bodied player. Catches and frames ball well defensively. Needs to enhance lower lateral movement and glove to hand exchange (2.2 split). Hits out of slight open front side crouch. Triggers hands from chest level. Does have hand finish in swing with some lower body torque. On the mound, he uses moderate arm speed through 3/4 slot. Fastball ranges 75-77 mph with some late bite on breaking ball (slurvy) 69-71 mph. Straight change at 73-74 mph.

2/18/12
6-foot-1, 200-pound prospect with big, soft frame. Registered a 5.81 40-yard dash. From the crouch, he reached a top velocity of 68 mph with pop times ranging from 2.21-2.38. At the plate, he starts with an open stance and a short stride. He shows average bat speed (70 mph) with a short, slightly uphill bat path and pull tendencies. On the mound, he displays average arm speed and short arm action through a high ¾ arm slot. His fastball is straight and sits at 70-74 mph. His curveball lacks effective break and sits at 66 mph. His changeup is his best off-speed pitch. It is thrown near fastball arm speed and sits at 68-69 mph.
