8/1/17
6’4, 180-pound prospect. At the plate, the right-handed hitting prospect generates lower half energy through a leg lift. Hands are fluid as they move back to launch. Barrel gets on plane early, giving him a large margin for error in timing. Natural tools are above average and he has a ton of juice left in there as he adds strength. Should grow into some power. Showed present gap pop. An ideal frame for the first base position. A very good athlete for the spot. Footwork is clean and ball skills are advanced for the spot. Projects as well above average defender over there. On the bump the righty has an uptempo delivery that requires little effort. Stays tall at balance point and lands in line to home plate. His momentum carries his finish straight towards home plate. Arm actions is longer with a slight hitch in the back. Strong kid with average arm speed. Worked his fastball in the zone consistently, changing eye levels and working both sides of the plate. His go to secondary offering was his breaking ball. The spinner works on an 11/5 plane with some depth and sharpness.
60-yard Dash: 7.56
Infield Velocity: 79
Exit Velocity: 87
FB: 80-82
CB: 64-65

8/2/16
6-foot-4, 197-pound strong, projectable frame. Ran a 4.73 from home to first. At the plate he uses a toe turn load to efficient get his lower half involved. Hands move back to a strong launch position before getting through the zone on a level path. Strong kid with more bat speed than his 78 mph exit velocity would indicate. Showed the ability to create backspin on his line drives. At first base he showed impressive glove skills in his funnel and on the move. Above average lateral mobility. Threw across the infield with 79 mph arm strength.
