A 6-foot-1, 217-pound prospect. Offensively, he is a right-handed bat that starts in a balanced setup. Simple approach, takes hands to launch during short stride. Path is slightly downhill and barrel gets through contact with ease. Average to above average bat speed at this stage. Strength is his top tool at the plate. Would be aided by leveling out path to let natural power show more consistently. A strong frame for the first base position. Gets off the bag with athleticism. Ball skills are average to slightly above average for class. Looks to have enough feel and natural athleticism to grow into a playable defender at the spot. On the mound the right-hander has a slower paced, repeatable delivery. Uses an easy, chest high leg lift prior to his stride. Tall and fall type guy that finishes in line to home plate. Arm action is long back before moving through a high-¾ slot. Arm speed is developing. Fastball was consistently in the zone, staying mostly true as it crosses the plate. His go to secondary offering was his 10/4 shaped breaking ball. The pitch showed signs of sharpness and was most effectively used as a chase pitch.
