On the mound the southpaw is very mechanically efficient with a low effort delivery. Arm action is clean with some looseness to it. Expect velocity to increase with age. A strike thrower that can really pitch. Worked both sides of the plate with his 67-69 mph fastball that had run at times. Breaking ball showed signs of sharpness at 56-57 mph. Was consistently in the zone with the pitch. His best offspeed pitch may be his 60-62 mph changeup. The pitch offering showed late action and had a similar look to his fastball out of the hand. At the plate he uses a leg kick to initiate his loading sequence. Hands move slightly back prior to his compact swing. Weight stays on back leg at contact causing an uphill path. Has a quick bat with some whip through the zone. Has feel for the first base position. Stays relatively low as he moves off the bag. Creates adequate angles with his footwork and flashed above average glove skills. A very functionally athletic outfielder that is mechanically sound. Footwork is clean and efficient. Glove skills are there and he plays with confidence. Stays fluid through fielding into his throws.
