On the bump, the right-handed pitching prospect offers a athletic, projectable frame. The prospect offers a unique wind-up and delivery. Works through a smooth back hip load, with a high leg kick. Closes his shoulders off to the batter throughout his wind-up, creating solid energy from a strong upper body torque and back hip load. Arm works freely with with a varied delivery angles. Occasionally will drop arm slot, keeping the hitters off balanced. Comfortable throwing any pitch through varied slot angle. Fastball was located well and stayed true through the zone. Had good outside command over his fastball. Complimented the fastball with a solid 10/4 breaking ball. Breaking ball worked away well from right-handed hitters and had solid late break action. Curveball break varied depending on arm slot, more side-to-side action from the dropped slot. Also showed a playable changeup pitch, with developing potential. Worked best when he got ahead in the count and was able to locate his strikeout pitch.

On the mound, the 6-foot-1, 162-pound righty starts with his feet narrow on the far left side of the rubber. Uses a small rocker step to engage a quick tempo. Big inward leg kick and lands slightly closed in his stride. Drops down and throws from a low ¾ slot. Fastball was up to 72 mph with occasional run. Typically located it on his arm side. Also mixed in a 61-64 mph slider with slurvey type action. Changeup had similar movement to his fastball at 60-62 mph. A righty swinger that starts in a balanced setup. Uses little to no stride and keeps his hands simple. A back leg hitter that takes an uphill path to contact. Showed more pop to his pull side. Would like to see him level out path to eliminate topspin to pull side. In the infield he takes direct routes and field the ball deep in his body. Showed the ability to handle short hops. From a low-¾ slot he threw across the infield with 74 mph arm strength.
