Reached a top velocity of 74 mph on his throws. At the plate, he starts with a narrow stance. Tends to be a little stiff. Uses a short stride with little wasted movement in his load. Takes a short, level path to the ball with line drive production. Comes from athletic family. Older brother is a 2013 graduate committed to Cincinnati for football. He was also a highly rated baseball prospect.
