8/7/16
6-foot-3, 195-pounds. Has a lot of stuff you can't teach. Arm is a plus tool as he showed 86 mph arm strength from the outfield and 82 mph across the infield. Have seen him up to 90 mph from the outfield. Will play in the outfield at the next level most likely. Takes efficient routes and has a natural feel for the position. At the plate he has simple mechanics and takes a level path to the ball. Batspeed and strength is there and should be able to hit for power once he learns to get the most out of his body. Reached a top exit velocity of 89 mph and ran a 4.64 from home to first.

6/7/16
6-foot-3, 195-pound, strong, projectable frame. Has all the tools to be a middle of the lineup hitter at the next level. Bat gets through the zone with above average batspeed. Strong kid. A more efficient lower half would let his athleticism and batspeed play more in his swing.  Reached a top exit velocity of 91 mph and ran a 6.8 60-yard dash. In the infield he has average hands and feet at this stage. Arm discomfort kept him from performing in the outfield, which is where he projects at the next level.  Arm is best tool as he threw across the infield with 78 mph arm strength. Have seen him up to 90 mph from the outfield.

2/13/16
Impressive looking athlete at 6-foot-3, 190-pounds. Ran a 6.97 60-yard dash. Profiles as a corner infielder/outfielder at the next level. Looked very impressive in the outfield. Used athletic footwork and was able to play through the ball well. Showcased the strongest arm of the day as he was able to throw accuretly with good carry and 88 mph arm strength to home plate. In the infield he has quickness to his footwork and did a good job of gaining ground to first base on his throws. Through a high-3/4 slot he threw across the diamond with 81 mph arm strength. At the plate he starts tall and does a good job of using an aggressive stride to create forward energy into contact. Has obvious strength and batspeed as he gets the barrel through the zone on a level path. Registered a top exit velocity of 89 mph.

Jacob is a very good athlete with a lot of tools and a projectable build at 6-foot-3, 190-pounds. From the outfield he has athletic actions and smoothly transition from fielding position into his throws. He threw with 85 mph arm strength to home plate with good carry. In the infield he moves light on his feet with good range to both his glove side and his backhand. Would like to see him play lower and quicken up his transfer. Through a high 3/4 slot he showed off 80 mph arm strength across the infield. At the plate he has good bat speed and was able to consistently find the barrel. Has some rawness to his swing but the tools are there. Registered an impressive exit velocity of 93 mph and ran a 4.17 from home to first.

6-foot-3, 190-pound athletic, projectable frame. Is a strong, powerful athlete running a 7.01 60-yard dash. A right-handed hitter that was able to create good forward energy to transfer his weight into contact. Hands moved slightly upwards during his stride leading to a downward path through the zone. Showed off his bat speed and strength by registering an exit velocity of 89 mph. At third base he was able to play low well remaining athletic with his footwork. Showed good range and the ability to field the ball out in front of his body. From a 3/4 slot he threw the ball across the diamond with 81 mph arm strength. In the outfield he will need to improve his footwork but showed off the best arm of the day at 86 mph to home plate.
