Hit: Physical stroke from the left side. Smooth actions that lead to a repeatable pre-launch sequence. Strength is apparent throughout stroke. All field abilities with more of a pull side BP.
Power: Gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Middle.

Field: Frame and skillset plays over at first. Clean feet with serviceable ball skills.
Throw: More than enough strength for the position.
Defensive Projection: 1B.

Scouting Notes: Physical presence on the mound. Smoother delivery that doesn't require a ton of effort. Arm works well through a near 3/4 slot. Fastball sat in the low 80s. Complements the fastball with a downer breaker with sharper bite. Pitch showed signs of swing and miss to it.
Fastball: 80-82mph.

1/20/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: Moved fairly dynamically on the mound with a clean arm action through a ¾ slot.
Fastball: Fastball was 77-80 mph and showed some ride through the zone.
Fastball Spin Rate: 2100-2300
Curveball: Breaking ball had slurvey shape and tight spin at 63-64 mph.
Curveball Spin Rate: 2200-2400
Changeup: Changeup was 69-71 mph and true through the zone.
Pitchability: Above average stuff with average feel. Breaking ball could develop into an above average offering when thrown harder with more intent.

1/20/20 Position Player
Hit: Talented lefty bat with some of the louder pop at the event. Strength is obvious through contact and he also displayed above average bat speed as he takes an efficient path to contact. Stung quite a few balls in BP.
Power: Gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Run Producer.

Field: More than capable defender over at first base. Plays with confidence and feel for the position.
Throw: More than enough strength for the spot.

Body Type: 6-foot-1, 215-pound physical frame.
Swing Mechanics: Simple approach mechanically from the left side.
Hit: Loose, whippy stroke with physicality behind it. Took a strong bP, showing an all fields approach with authority to pull side. Loud misses and makes.
Power: 93.9 was top exit velocity in BP. Gap abilities. Flashed some pull side power.
Offensive Projection: Run producer qualities.
Field: First baseman with above average athleticism for the position. Plays with smooth tempo and gets off the bag well, showing solid lateral mobility. Ball skills play at the position.
Throw: More than enough arm for the spot.
Defensive Projection: 1B.

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: A slower delivery with some involvement of the lower half. A smooth high ¾ arm action that creates nice whip to the plate. 
Fastball: 75-80mph. Slight arm side movement on a pitch that gets up on hitters quick. Thrown in the zone most of the time. 2,000-2,200 rpm spin rate with high 80% spin efficiency.
Curveball: 63-65mph. Moves on a 12/6 plane with nice spin and movement to it. Induces soft contact and thrown in the zone consistently.
Pitchability: Strike thrower.

2/17/19 Pitching

Body Type: 6-foot, 205 pound strong, physical frame.

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Delivery showed some stiffness. Showed a fast arm with a nearly over the top arm slot.

Fastball: 79-81 mph. Showed life through zone. Stayed mostly straight.

Curveball: 65-70 mph. Developing pitch that showed 11-5 shape.

Changeup: 73-74 mph. Commanded well and showed some arm side run.

Pitchability: Commanded the fastball and changeup extremely well. Curveball is still developing into an effective offering.

Additional Comments: Shows present strength and with more athleticism in delivery should see increased in velocity.

2/17/19

Swing Mechanics: Closed stance coming from this lefty. Hands were quick followed by his load as he went to strike the baseball. Loading process is developing in fluidity overall as he continues to progress.

Hit: Shows strength for sure in his swing. Consistency is growing as loud barrel action was observed a few times.

Power: 81 mph exit velocity. More to follow.  

Offensive Projection: TBD for now.

Run: 7.62 60-yard.
Field: At first base he displayed softer hands fielding the baseball showing nice glovework overall. Footwork plays well to for him with continuing mobility as he progress on in his career.

Throw:

2/18/18
Right handed pitcher with fluent rhythm in his windup. Throws from a ¾ arm slot and stays directionally towards the target through release. Mixes different leg kicks out of the stretch. Fastball spots up well in the lower half downhill at 75-79 mph. Spins an 11-5 breaking ball with gradual break at 60-64 mph. Offering shows developing rotation. Also throws a changeup to round out his arsenal that comes in at 66-70 mph. Arm speed slightly dropped. At third base he showed an average glove still working on coming through it more efficiently. Footwork developing in quickness and angles taken to the ball. Threw with nice arm strength across the diamond at 74 mph. At the plate he starts in an athletic setup from the left side. Shows a slight back load with hands during his short stride for timing. A physical bat that takes a downhill path to contact. Generates easy bat speed through the zone showing present gap abilities. Also showed signs of loft power to pull side. A bat to follow as physical maturation takes its course.

7/25/17
A left-handed hitter at the plate that starts in a balanced setup. Loading sequence is simple and creates timing. Natural tools stand out in swing. Bat speed is impressive and barrel gets through contact with ease. A middle of the lineup guy who finds the barrel consistently. One of the more impressive BPs taken on the day. At third base he takes direct routes to the baseball, fielding in the middle of his body. Ball skills are developing. A good athlete with solid lateral mobility. Looks to have the arm to stay on the left side of the infield. On the bump, the right-handed pitching prospect shows an uptempo delivery that requires some effort. Arm moves through a high-¾ slot with developing arm speed. Fastball works on a downhill plane with noticeable arm side run. Breaking ball has an 11/5 shape to, showing gradual break. Also showed feel for a changeup that had a fastball look out of the hand. The pitch showed some run and dive as it tumbled through the strike zone.
