A righty bat that starts in an athletic setup. Bat moves back with fluidity during his leg lift load and short stride. Barrel launches from a vertical position, creating whip through the zone. Swing is efficient and compact. Gets on plane well allowing him to consistently find the barrel. Natural tools are developing and he showed solid feel for the barrel. Bat should play nicely at the top of the lineup. More pop than frame would suggest, especially to his pull side. In the outfield, his footwork is playable. Fields the ball in the middle of his body. Arm action is shorter from a 3/4 slot with developing arm strength. Uses more of a shuffle than a crow hop to gather his momentum.
