A right-handed bat that starts in a balanced, slightly open setup. Initiates movement with a fluid leg kick. Hands stay rhythmic as they move to launch. Swings the bat with intent, showing developing bat speed. Path is slightly downhill with barrel authority through contact. A pull side hitter that can produce backspin. Look for more juice as he fills out frame. Behind the plate he starts in a low crouch. Showed some flexibility to his hips. Creates good direction with his footwork. Transfer skills are developing. In the infield he looked smooth and athletic. Does a nice job staying low as he plays through the baseball. Hands are soft and ball skills are above average. How arm develops will likely determine which side of the infield he ends up on.
