A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Loading sequence is fluid and puts him in a strong attack position. Path is level with definite whip through the zone. Bat speed is developing and strength through contact is above average. Looks to have much more physical maturing to do and much more pop to come. The natural tools are there to hit in the middle of the lineup down the road. In the outfield, he approaches the ball with average footwork. Fields the ball outside the frame of his body on his glove side. Uses a shorter crow hop to gather momentum. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot with developing arm strength. Does a nice job of finishing through release and staying on line to the target. From the mound, the right-handed pitcher starts from a tall setup. Uses an average tempo delivery towards home plate. Mechanics are adequate. Glove foot lands towards home plate upon impact. Releases the ball from a ¾ arm slot. Stays on top of his fastball which shows slight right to left movement. Curveball comes in on an 11-5 tilt with gradual break. Rounds out his offerings with a changeup that shows late drop.
