A strong, thick build at 6-foot-3, 250-pounds. At the plate he uses minimal load before taking an aggressive stride forward. Hands stay in a strong position during his stride before whipping the bat through the zone on a level path. Reached a top exit velocity of 83 mph. Behind the plate he starts in a high crouch. Does a good job of getting his shoulders square and with short arm action he threw with 75 mph arm strength to second base. Would like to see him speed up his transfer which should easily improve his pop times that ranged from 2.06-2.15. Ran a 4.88 from home to first.
