5-foot-10, 160-pound prospect. Brofft isn’t a guy who is going to light up the radar gun, as he topped out at 77 mph with his fastball. However he shows signs of having more velo in there and can really pitch. The southpaw is very mechanically efficient with clean arm action and a quick arm. Both his secondary pitches are well above average offerings. His changeup has a fastball look to it before showing late run and sink. His breaking ball is very sharp on an 1/7 plane.

The 5-foot-10, 160-pound lefty had an average tempo while working from the stretch. Fastball comes out of an over the top arm slot and ranged from 75-78 mph. Curveball showed hard 12/6 bite thrown between 66-68 mph. Changeup sat 67-68 mph with downward action. Does a good job of tunneling each of his three pitches making the OS hard to pick up at times.
