6-foot, 165-pound solid build. Mason was definitely one of the top performers at the showcase. He showed a slow tempo, compact delivery and was on line at foot strike. Throws from a quick, short, high-3/4 slot with his fastball sitting 87-89 mph with some run to it. Shows good depth on his breaking ball at 73-75 mph with 11/5 tilt. Showcased a solid changeup at 81 mph with good arm speed.
Left definite impression that he is a solid two-way potential guy for the next level. Has athleticism in his projectable 5-foot-10, 148-pound body. Ran a 7.2 second 60 yard dash and showed a solid arm strength. The righty hitter has quick hands into hitting zone with some power potential. Gets lower body torque and good hand finish; hitting grades will enhance with consistent backside load. On the bump, he has directional path towards the plate with moderate 3/4 level arm slot. Has stiffness in front leg but fastball registered 82-83 mph. Good downhill action. Showed a 69-70 mph breaking with 12/6 action and good depth. Also, showed a developing a 77 mph changeup that he located down in the zone.

5-foot-9, 138-pound infielder with smallish build. Showed quick arm action and transfer in the field. Projects best as a second baseman at present. Needs to continue improving footwork. Tends to get wide and doesn’t play through the ball. Right-handed hitter with wide base. Hands drift in load and have tendency to bar, which creates some length in his swing. Takes slight uphill path to the ball. Contact type hitter at this stage.
