Hit: Swings it from the left side, starting in a balanced stance. Uses a simple approach mechanically, showing a slight back load to hands during short stride for timing. Slightly downhill, compact stroke with a balanced combination of strength/speed to hands. Both tools project for more as physical maturation takes its course. Low line drive to ground ball flight for the most part.
Power: Top rapsodo exit velocity was 78.7 mph in BP, while top rapsodo distance registered at 201 feet.
Offensive Projection: Table setter.
Field: Plays with a controlled, consistent tempo throughout sequence in the outfield. Smoother actions. Ball skills appear to be on par for class.
Throw: Showed 71 mph arm strength to home plate from the outfield.
Defensive Projection: Corner outfield.
2/16/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: High-¾ southpaw on the bump that offers three offerings. Rolls through his lower effort delivery with consistent tempo. Creates solid direction down the hill. Arm offers a balanced combination of strength and speed to it.
Fastball: Topped 72 mph, more in the tank, mostly true through the zone.
Curveball: 59-62 mph, 1/7 shape, gradual action, showed feel for the offering.
Changeup: 65-66 mph, uses fastball arm speed, generates fading action.
