A 5-foot-4, 120-pound pitching prospect. On the mound the southpaw had long arm action with a max effort delivery. Created efficient energy and solid direction to home plate with his lower half. Working through a 3/4 slot Ward sat 64-67 mph with his fastball. His arm slot puts natural run on the pitch. Spins a 1/7 curveball with gradual break at 56-60 mph. Showed good feel for the pitch and was consistently in the zone. Was able to maintain his arm speed on his 58-59 mph changeup.
