At the plate he uses a short stride for energy while taking hands to launch. Top of the lineup skill set. Swing is compact and he finds the barrel often. His level path allows him to get on plane early. At third base he takes direct routes to the ball and fields in the middle of his body. Tends to play from heels at times. Glove skills are average at this stage. Arm has some looseness to it and he throws with accuracy. An above average athlete for the position.
