A contact type hitter that uses very little movement to his loading sequence. Takes a direct path to the baseball, consistently finding the barrel. Swing is short and compact with some quickness to his bat. Would like to see him create more energy with his lower half. Creates angles to play through the ball efficiently in the infield. Has confidence to his actions. Plays low through the baseball. More confident to backhand side at this stage than he is forehand. The young 2020 prospect displays short arm action while working through a high ¾ slot on the mound. Creates momentum with smooth delivery towards the plate as he offers a 68-71 mph straight fastball. Two offspeed pitches. The 61-63 mph breaking ball spins with some 11/5 type movement. Also mixes in a 63-66 mph changeup thrown with near fastball arm speed.
